Keep what counts.

Worth Noting is a private record of the things you did, solved, made, learned, finished, and handled. Keep them while they're fresh, then let them find you again. For the review. The interview. The next move. Or simply some perspective.

Stored on your device by default · No Worth Noting account required · Free to start

The Worth Noting home screen. A year ago today, “Got the promotion I'd worked two years for.” Beneath it a win brought back from three months ago, and the rest of the record below that.

The problem

You did more than you remember.

Months later, the review form is blank. The interview question catches you off guard. Even a year you know was full can feel strangely hard to account for.

It's not because nothing happened. You were busy living it. Worth Noting gives those moments somewhere to go while the details are still clear.

For the review

Keep the details now, so you don't have to reconstruct the year later. More for your career

For what's next

Have the examples ready for the next role, conversation, client, or the thing you're quietly building on the side.

For perspective

Keep the fuller record for when memory gets selective. Memory isn't always a fair editor.

How it works

Keep it while it's still fresh.

Worth Noting starts light, then gives you room when a win deserves more. Keep the moment, keep the context, and let the record become useful over time.

01 · Keep it

A line is enough.

Write it down while you still have the details. Add more later, or don't.

02 · Add what matters

Keep what you'll want later.

What happened, why it mattered, who was involved, photos, links, or a private note to yourself.

03 · Let it find you again

What you keep comes back.

Past wins resurface. Anniversaries return. A look back shows what added up.

04 · Use the record

Have the record when you need it.

Search, filter, revisit, and export what you need for a review, an interview, a client, a next move, or a clearer picture of what you've actually done.

More when it matters

Keep more than the headline.

A win can stay one line. Or it can hold the details you'll want later: what happened, what changed, who was there, what someone said about it, and a note to future you.

When review season comes around, you're not starting with a blank page or searching through months of email and calendars.

A win opened in full: “Closed the Henderson renewal,” marked one to remember, with what happened, why it matters, $184K renewed under By the numbers, a line of recognition from the client, and the people it was done with.

Worth noting beyond work

Not everything worth keeping belongs on a resume.

Your work may span a job, a business, clients, creative projects, or several things at once. And some of what matters most won't fit neatly into any of them.

There's the launch at work. The first client of your own. The class you finished. The room you repaired yourself. The person you helped. The hard season you carried. The small moment that wouldn't look important to anyone else, but mattered to you.

A personal win kept in the same detail as a work one: “Learned to make my grandmother's bread,” with three photographs of the baking and a note to self reading, some things are worth being slow at.

At work

The work you'll want to remember clearly.

The launches, fixes, decisions, mentoring, and invisible work that made a difference.

On your own

The thing you're building on your own.

The first client, the first sale, the experiment, the side project, the practice you're taking seriously.

Made or learned

The thing you made, learned, or figured out.

The project, skill, recipe, room, first draft, finished piece, or new way of doing something.

In life

The thing you tried, finished, got through, or finally did.

The first half marathon, the hard conversation, the care nobody called an accomplishment, the moment worth keeping.

One record, across all of it. It isn't tied to an employer or a client. It stays with you as your work, roles, and life change.

Why Worth Noting exists

Made to revisit

Let it find you again.

Capturing is only the beginning. Worth Noting brings older wins back so the record doesn't disappear beneath whatever happened most recently.

A week rarely feels important while you're in it. Neither does a month. Seeing what happened together can change the picture.

A win brought back on its own: “Helped Maya through her first client escalation,” from September, with a note to self underneath and a Show me another below it.

During the week

An older win comes back to your home screen, drawn from what you've kept rather than just what happened most recently.

On this day

A win comes back on its anniversary, bringing you back to the date it happened.

A look back

A month or a quarter, gathered together. Work can sit beside the bread you finally learned to make.

Something worth noting later?

Keep it in Coming up.

When the date passes

Worth Noting asks one question: how did it go?

Then decide

Turn it into a win, move it forward, or let it go.

No task list required

It stays a prompt to come back to, not another place to manage your life.

When you need the record

A record you can actually use.

The app helps you keep the details. The documents help you use them somewhere else. Each begins with the same thought: what it adds up to.

A page of the Record PDF: each win dated and titled, with its description beneath, running down the page in order.

Questions

A few useful answers.

What counts as a win?

Anything you want to remember having done, handled, learned, made, finished, changed, or tried. It can be professional or personal, large or small. You decide what belongs, and nothing in the app grades it.

Is Worth Noting mainly for work?

Work is an important use case, but not the only one. People use Worth Noting as a work journal or brag document for reviews, interviews, and career changes, and also for the things they make, learn, handle, or get through outside work. Your record belongs to you, not an employer, so work, freelance projects, something you're building, and the rest of life can all live in one place. Areas let you keep different parts of the record separate, and with Pro you can create your own.

Do I need to log something every day?

No. This is meant to be light. A line is enough. There's no streak to protect or counter to feed, and no nudge about what you didn't do.

How soon will a win come back to me?

Not right away, on purpose. Worth Noting gives what you've kept a little distance before bringing it back, so resurfacing feels more like remembering than rereading something you just wrote. In practice a win becomes eligible once it's a few days old, and the card on your home screen appears once you've kept a handful, so the first few days are mostly keeping things.

If you add a win that happened earlier, date it to when it actually happened. That gives your record something older to bring back sooner.

Does it connect to my work tools?

No, and that's deliberate. Worth Noting doesn't pull from your calendar, inbox, or work software. Writing the line yourself takes seconds, keeps the record in your own words, and means it stays with you even when your job or tools change. More on why the record should belong to you.

Is there an Android version?

Not yet. Worth Noting is available on iPhone and iPad today, with Android planned for later.

What happens after 20 wins?

Nothing you've already written is affected. Worth Noting Free holds up to 20 wins, and your existing record stays available to read, search, edit, back up, and export. Pro removes the limit and adds more ways to organize, protect, sync, and use your record, including your own Areas, additional fields, more PDF options, automatic iCloud backup, and multi-device sync.

Where is my information stored?

On your device by default. No Worth Noting account is required, and we don't store your wins on our servers. With Pro, you can turn on automatic backup and multi-device sync through your own iCloud.

Does it work offline?

Yes. The app runs on your device, so writing, reading, searching, and exporting all work without a connection.

What happens if I lose my phone?

Manual backup is free and always available, and restoring is free too. With Pro, you can turn on automatic iCloud backup so Worth Noting keeps a recovery copy current in your iCloud without you having to remember to make one yourself.

Does Worth Noting collect analytics about how I use the app?

No. Worth Noting doesn't collect usage or behavioral analytics. If you choose to send feedback, it opens an email you can review before anything is sent.

Can I get my wins out of the app?

Yes. Export your record as a PDF, or create a backup file you can keep yourself. Both are free, and you choose where the backup is saved.
